Children's' expectations during disasters

Research has found that children would like to be more involved. They want everyone involved to be more supportive of children by listening to them and taking account of what they might be experiencing. They wanted their families to be more honest with them and keep them better informed because they found they were more afraid when they did not know what was happening.
